Mortal Wounds
 
Sometimes it hurts so much
life kind of stabs you in the side
you can run
you can hide
but you will never get that knife out
it's in deep
it hurt's bad
blood is dripping everywhere
but you can't get it out
you just curl up in a corner
and let it hurt
you can call someone
they will help for a while
but the knife will still be there
It has really gotten you
a wound that cannot be healed
but you must sleep now
the knife may be gone when you wake
but it will be back
to do more damage
soon.
